Holmgren fired
Cherry AB is currently announcing the immediate dismissal of Anders Holmgren, who has served as a key advisor to the company's ongoing growth strategy since 2015. As a result of his pre-trial detention, Holmgren is no longer able to fulfill his corporate duties at Cherry, the reasons are given. The CEO Morten Klein confirmsigt verbatim in a press release on the group's homepage:
"Anders Holmgren has made valuable contributions as CEO of Cherry, but is unable to fulfill his duties while facing allegations of serious insider trading. The Board of Directors today decided to terminate his employment as CEO. In this context, Anders Holmgren will also relinquish his duties as board memberGLIed in Cherry's subsidiaries."
The current interim boss, the chairman of the supervisory board Gunnar Lind, is considered experienced and was already CEO of Cherry between 2004 and 2011, but a recruitment process for a new, long-term CEO has already begun, according to the board of directors.
