This is Alteatec
Since its founding in 2001, Alteatec has been able to prove that it can develop and operate tailor-made IT solutions that have the future. There are now branches in the most important European locations such as Malta, Italy, Austria, India and Romania, but also in India and the USA. Typically, customers come from the automotive, pharmaceutical, financial, healthcare or insurance industries. But Alteatec has also become one of the world's leading providers of iGaming management systems and platforms for the gaming industry.
Alteatec has established itself
At the heart of Alteatec's portfolio, which has propelled it to its size and importance in the gaming industry, is an iGaming management system called Olympus One. This includes, among other things, functional units for duel tournaments, bonuses and many other tools. The Olympus One system can also connect land-based arcades with online casino offerings; Alteatec had developed new modules specifically for this purpose. The company is also known for its Safe Server and other security solutions that strengthen its position in the market.
Greentube is now taking over
Financial details were not disclosed, but a press release confirmedigte that Greentube will now hold a majority stake in Alteatec and will therefore take over the helm. This takeover is intended to strengthen its own offering, especially the B2B area. There are also plans to optimize Greentube's portfolio with live dealer streaming and voice-over technologies from Alteatec. The aim is not only to be a gaming operator with a high-quality offering, but also to remain so in the future.
"I am thrilled to begin 2023 in such a meaningful way. Alteatec is a market leader in iGaming technology. The expertise of Alteatec's talented and experienced team will be instrumental in Greentube's continued success." - Thomas Graf, CEO of Greentube, Press release
Combinations should bring innovations
It is also planned to combine Alteatec's technologies with the Novomatic know-how for electronic table games. If this succeeds, Greentube will be able to offer 360-degree solutions in the future that are available both offline and online. The associated one Novo Unity system has the task of enabling flexible interconnection of a large number of electronic live games and slot games - on an unlimited number of player stations. If it works as Greentube hopes, this could be a groundbreaking innovation.
"It is very gratifying to watch the company's growth, especially if this acquisition allows us to bring on board some of the best talent in the world. Alteatec's technology will rapidly increase our overall performance and open up new technological opportunities for us." - Georg Gubo, COO of Greentube, Press release
